This is the very first thermomix recipe on Cooker and a Looker.
Some of you will know that I bought a second hand thermie a few months back. I've been getting acquainted with my new bit of gear, experimenting and generally wondering why I didn't get one years ago.
I knocked up this smoked salmon dip in all of five minutes. It's delicious and the texture is much nicer than the horrible artificially coloured pink stuff (why SO pink?) for sale in the supermarket.

The start of all great recipes is good ingredients and this smoked salmon dip is no exception. The fresh dill gives a lovely fresh flavour and the texture leaves the shop bought stuff for dead.
Ingredients
100g smoked salmon
100g cream cheese
40g sour cream
4 sprigs fresh dill
1 garlic clove
zest + juice of half a lemon
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Place the dill and garlic into the TM bowl and process 5 seconds, speed 7.
Add the smoked salmon to the TM bowl and process 5 seconds, speed 5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Weigh in the sour cream and cream cheese, add the lemon zest and juice then process 10-15 seconds (depending on your preferred texture), speed 4.
Taste and adjust the seasoning/lemon to taste.
