How are the school holidays treating you?  The Big Sister has a three week loooong break and I'm reaching the end of my craft quota for the century!

It wouldn't be so bad, but between the end of financial year farm stuff and taking on the redesign of our website, I feel like I could lock myself, uninterrupted, in a room for a whole month and still not get everything done.  Yesterday afternoon saw me researching unlikely topics like the weight of 600㎥ of chook poo and how many megalitres in an olympic swimming pool.  Standard farmer stuff, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) who compile the annual Land Management and Agricultural Commodities Survey.  I struggle through the form every year and curse the person who came up with the ridiculously complicated questions.

Years ago, when we bought the farm we named it Superior Couch Supplies.  Wintergreen couch was the only grass on the farm in the beginning and Bearhands had another “Superior” business that we thought we'd align ourselves with.  That year the ABS attempted to compel us into taking part in a furniture manufacturers survey.  Seriously, I should have just done it.  I would have been much easier to declare that I'd made zero sofa beds that year.

My favourite post from last week was this Chocolate Fudge Slice from Twinkle in the Eye.  I wonder if she'd consider posting me some!  chocolate fudge slice

Righto, down to business - the guidelines for I'm Pinning Around Pinterest Link Party.

    • The party will start every Wednesday morning and close at midnight on Friday.  All welcome.
    • Bloggers: if you’d like to join in: share one post that you think is perfect for Pinterest, then browse the other posts, find at least two that interest you, visit the site and pin directly from the original post.
    • Please help spread the word about the link too – the more people who join in, the more chances there are to pin.  If you're sharing, please add the #pinningaround hashtag.
    • Each week I choose a few of my favourites to showcase the following week.
    • Readers: I hope that this will be a fun way to find some new blogs to enjoy. I've already discovered lots of gorgeous new blogs with clever ideas and photography that I adore!

Me too - I could easily lock myself in a room for a month and work my butt off and still have stuff to do. And it would definitely be easier if I had a slab of that slice too! Thanks for hosting.

I'm certain that slice would make us more productive Malinda!

Thanks for the feature! That slice is so easy there is no need to post you some. 10 minutes prep and in she goes!

Another great round up! If only I could lock myself away and get some work done.. Instead I'm up at 4am and have discovered if I turn the heater on my boys will sleep in until 7am!
