I’m over at My Brown Paper Packages talking about my five favourite things today (spoiler alert: one of them is booze). Writing the list was fun, but deciding what made the final cut was tougher than I’d anticipated. Here are five favourite things that didn’t make the cut:
This whiteboard-style stick-on calendar from Avery.
Our kitchen is the hub of our home; having this stuck on the fridge helps me keep an eye on what’s coming up, so I don’t double book our weekends or forget the Big Sister’s show and tell.
This ginger tea.
Ginger kick is my new favourite sip, think gingerbread without the calories and a cup of warm something without the caffeine.
Red lipstick.
My front tooth was knocked out at high school. Since then I avoided drawing attention to my imperfect smile. A few years ago I got over myself and I’ve been loving bright lips ever since.
My camera.
Bearhands and the girls said they’d upgrade my camera for Christmas last year. It took me til February to find a good one on Gumtree, but when I did, it was love at first sight. Improving my photography is one of my bloggy goals.
Source body wash.
Love this stuff for it’s clever marketing and it’s anti-cruelty stance. The fact that Bearhands smells like pineapple lumps is icing on the cake.
