Day 16 of Distanced Ed

I’ve found myself thinking “I can’t wait until we can ….” about things and I figure the girls are probably feeling the same, so I started an isolation jar.

Every time we think of something we miss doing we’re going to write it on a square of paper, fold it up and put it in the jar. When this is all over, we can open the jar and set about trying to do the things we’ve missed.
I wrote ‘toboggan down the sand dunes at Waddy Point’. (We were heading to Fraser Island before this blew up.)
The Big Sister wants to visit Black Duck Creek to see Uncle Ant, Aunty Fliss and the boys. Specially, she wants to ride Peppe when we get there. Good plans for future happys.

I recorded another video for The Isolation Diaries documentary I’m taking part in – message A Cast of Thousands if you’re keen to join.

At lunch we drove to Brisbane to pick Bearhands’ car up from a yard where we were trying to sell it on consignment. Not a great time to be selling a ute! The Colonel made lunch and we had a contactless pick up half way there.

When we got home I spent more time working on getting my cookbook to be free on Amazon. Turns out even after I managed to work out the time zones, I forgot to change the date by a day 🤦🏼‍♀️.

The Little Sister and I did more AUSLAN. Today was finger spelling. The Little Sister is struggling a bit with reversing the Instructor’s signs before she does them. Lucky I’ve had all that Aerobics Oz-Style experience. 😂

Bearhands and I made dinner together, I FaceTimed Mum and Dad while we were cooking. That was probably a mistake. I’m the queen of multitasking but I’m yet to master multitasking and slicing chillies. 😉

Too cloudy to see the much touted Super Pink Moon.
