Day 13 of Distanced Ed

Woke up on the wrong side of the wrong bed.

My MS symptoms reappeared overnight and it’s hard to sleep when it feels like you’re squeezed into a corset you can’t remove. Spent the morning in a mood because the reoccurrence of my symptoms coincides with missing my normal appointment with my GP because I was being cautious and self isolating.

I made two breakfasts before 9am, then followed up with some pancakes in a bottle that turned a horrifying blue colour when I added water.

Watched Back to the Future 3 that we recorded on Foxtel. Recording ended with six minutes to go. Would they make it back to 1985? 🤦🏼‍♀️

Today should have been special – we were supposed to take them for a fancy lunch in Brisbane, then on to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was a big part of the Big Sister’s birthday present back in July.

Instead Bearhands and I harvested turf at the other (not-home) farm while the girls sat in the shed playing roller coasters in the old office chairs.

Made tacos for dinner, found myself short of taco seasoning so added some Caribbean Jerk seasoning I’d bought months ago on a whim. As Vivian would say “Big mistake. HUGE MISTAKE!”

Life lesson #13: tacos shouldn’t smell like pineapple lollies, and if they do, you’re making them wrong. 🙅‍♀️🌮
