The Big Sister and I recorded our part for Pub Choir’s second Couch Choir, David Bowie’s “We Can Be Heroes”.
Hot day, so we all got in the pool. Then Bearhands suggested we shout them Maccas for lunch as a treat. Used the app to order ahead so it was a completely contactless operation- we could even have bought milk, muffins and burger buns – pretty clever.
Watched an episode of Nailed It on Netflix together. Saw photos of crowds at the New Farm Markets on social media. Felt wild that people are being reckless with the lives of the elderly and people with pre-exisiting conditions. 😤
The girls made their cousin a video for his 12th birthday.
Later we drove to to another turf farm where the fellows talked business and the girls talked life – all from >2m away. Was good to see some different faces for a little while.
Dinner was curry from a jar with veggies from the freezer, which I made solo while the kids and Bearhands started “Journey to the Centre of the Earth 2”.
Strangely they went to Atlantis instead, guess if you’ve seen one Centre of the Earth, you’ve seen them all. 🤷♀️
