The Little Sister and I started an online Auslan course. The first sign we learned was “I Love You”.
The boxes I’d ordered to send ANZAC Day care packages to the troops finally arrived (one day before the cut off to send). The girls started writing cards to serving Defence Members who will receive our little care packages on ANZAC Day.
Spent some time trying to get my cookbook onto kindle so I can share it free/as cheaply as Amazon will let me to help families get creative in their isolated kitchens.
We had a Smyth family G+T session on zoom in the evening. Great to see their wonderful faces.
Later we learned a friend had lost a loved one to Covid-19. It’s the first time the virus has touched our social network and it brought home how seriously we need to take social distancing and flattening the curve.
The Big Sister cooked dinner all by herself.
Life lesson #10: watching your daughter gingerly slice an onion will give you a fit of the vapours even if you’re standing far away from the fumes.
