I’m headed off to a birthday celebration tomorrow.  Every year, three of my girlfriends and I celebrate our February/March birthdays together.

This year is a bit different though.  My sister-wife Susan has planned our day and we no nothing except a time and a dress code.

These past few weeks she’s been sending us obscure clues about what we’re going to get up to.

The first clue was this couch. I figure Susan has bought a time machine about plans to transport us back to 1962. Cool.

The second clue confirmed my time-machine suspicions. The set of I Dream of Jeannie appears to be on our itinerary.

This head dress had me wondering. My time machine theory could still be correct, but was a visit to a bordello really on our to-do list?

The fourth clue appeared to be a church. Perhaps we could atone for our activities at the bordello?

The fifth clue seemed to further support my time machine theory.

The sixth clue hinted at a visit to the roman empire.

I had absolutely no idea about the seventh clue. I asked if we were off The Thunder from Down Under. One of mates didn't know what that was, so she googled it. At work. Track that IT division!

The eight clue seemed to hint that we might be getting eyebrow waxes. I'm happy about that really, mine are overdue.

The ninth had a nautical theme. I asked if we'd need a life jacket. (Now Marcia's coming to the party, it seems we probably will!)

I reckon the tenth clue is the inside of the Brisbane Watch house. Not that I'd know what that looked like of course!

The eleventh clue was the wheels of the Delorian?

The twelfth clue really threw me. Are we going to watch Beaches? Shall I pack tissues?

The last clue was the kicker. Susan sent us a horse's arse. No guessing what that means.

So good friends, I clearly have no idea of what we’ll be doing come 10.30am tomorrow, so I’m putting it to you:

what do you think we’ll doing and which clues tipped you off?

Oh I’m clueless at clues so will be no help at all. High five to Susan for all her secret tricks and cunning plans. Whatever you get up to, I hope you have the bestest day ever and that you tell us all about it, please. Happy weekend xx

ok, the white thing with the rope is a ‘chandon’ bottle, summer ’14 edition. that’s a great start. i swear the back end of the horse is the ‘old spice’ guy’s horse, and he rides the horse on a beach, so maybe that’s his footprint walking beside y’all while you girls get to do the windswept thing. also very promising! don’t ask me why, but i AM SURE the brass eye is from that rabbit holding a coffee cup in sydney. (i am not even sure i’ve even seen that thang in real life, though, maybe i dreamed that part.) and while the casio type watch is a definite throwback in time, the couch goes back even farther. but the *delorian* wheels? nuh-uh. the husband-creature knew in a heartbeat that it’s not de lorian……. but it’s not a google-indexed image so i’m still… wait for it… CLUELESS.

can’t wait to hear the REAL answers!! enjoy, xoxo

Oh man, I hope that’s the old spice bloke’s horse Buf! Love your guesses. Will keep you posted when I find out (believe me, even if I need a row boat I’m getting out of here and finding out tomorrow!)
